About me

Hi, I'm Lauren Jackson! I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and am currently studying digital media with a minor in marketing at Anderson University.

While at Anderson, I've had the opportunity to complete several hands-on digital media and marketing projects that gave me experience in marketing campaign development, video production, photography, and more.

I am also a graphic design intern at Lost and Found Ministries, where I help them implement a cohesive brand identity by designing print materials.

Experience

BodyArmor Mock IMC Campaign
  • As a university project, I worked with a team to create a mock IMC campaign to promote product line awareness for BodyArmor Flash I.V. Sticks.

  • Outlined a strategic framework for the campaign, including buyer persona, campaign theme, and KPIs.

  • Created 10 pieces of content, including social media graphics and video scripts, corresponding to each stage of the buying cycle.

LOT Project Corporate Videos
  • Created and edited an interview-style podcast for a university class using Adobe Audition and professional recording equipment.

  • Organized interviews with podcast guests, including a group interview with participants from different time zones.

  • Analyzed metrics and created a presentation on podcast performance.

Synthesis Magazine Article
Revival Foundation Podcast
  • Wrote an article on Anderson University's Spanish professors for the college's award-winning student-led publication, Synthesis Magazine.

  • Interviewed several students and faculty members to capture a broader perspective on the Spanish program.

  • Captured professional headshots of interview subjects.

  • Used Adobe InDesign to create the layout of the spread according to Synthesis Magazine's style.

The edition of Synthesis Magazine where this article was published won an IABC Palmetto Award in December 2023.

  • Worked with a team to produce a series of corporate videos for a real client.

  • Conducted video interviews of stakeholders, including directors, volunteers, and guests.

  • Captured b-roll using professional camera equipment.

  • Edited videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and delivered them to the client for suggestions, then made revisions based on their feedback.
